Getting a library card is free and easy.

Visit the Brown County Public Library in person to fill out an application.

Who Can Get a Card

• Free library cards are available to all Brown County residents
• You must be 5 years old or older
• Children under 18 need a parent or guardian to sign the application

What You Need to Apply

Please provide:

• First and last name
• Street address
• Date of birth
• Email address

Fine-Free Library

Brown County Public Library does not charge overdue fines.

• Items that are more than 16 days overdue will cause your account to be temporarily locked
• Your account will be unlocked as soon as the items are returned
