LITTLE FREE LIBRARY

The Brown County Public Library has a Little Free Library located at 113 Main Street in Versailles (inside the entryway of the former Farmers State Bank).

This small book-sharing box is part of the Little Free Library nonprofit organization, whose mission is to inspire a love of reading, build community, and spark creativity through neighborhood book exchanges.
Our Little Free Library is open to everyone and belongs to everyone.

How it works:
Take a book — Find something you’d like to read and take it with you.
Leave a book — Share a book you’ve enjoyed so someone else can discover it.
It’s simple, free, and a great way to connect with your community through reading.
The Little Free Library has a great website and app that you can use to view a map of all Little Free Library locations.
