To create a community-focused library that meets the informational, educational, technological, and recreational needs of a widely diverse public.  We are committed to progress on all levels.

 

• Brown County Public Library is one of the county's most utilized resource hubs, with in-house programs, services, and online resources: Libby, The Palace Project, Beanstack, and Hoopla.

 

• The library is free of charge for all Brown County residents to enjoy.

 

• Opened on January 29, 2025, our new, larger, and more accessible facility, designed and built with community input and support, provides expanded opportunities and resources for all ages, from toddlers to senior citizens.

 

• There are dedicated areas for children and young adults, historical collections, study rooms, meeting spaces, comfortable reading areas, and a large community room.
